The Story
Before the pyramid, before the foundation, before a single student - there was a young man who had lost his father, lost his way, and then lost his health. This is the story of what found him.
Most spiritual stories begin with a search. This one begins with a collapse - and with a teacher who refused to let it end there.
Nineteen ninety-three.
Then the diagnosis.
In 1993, Shreans Daga lost his father. What followed, by his own telling, were the darkest years of his life - grief that slid into depression, and depression that reached for alcohol. In 1996 came the diagnosis: tuberculosis.
A young businessman from a family enterprise, ill and adrift. That is where this story actually begins - not on a stage, but at a bottom. What happened next, he has told the same way for decades.
Then he met Patriji.
Then came forty days.
Brahmarshi Patriji - founder of Pyramid Valley and the Pyramid Spiritual Societies Movement - taught him to meditate, and taught him a discipline that would define everything after: question everything, demand the science, treat root causes and not symptoms. As Shreans tells it, forty days of unbroken practice later, his health returned - and his direction never left. Two decades of study followed: meditation and breathwork, neuroscience, quantum physics, epigenetics, transgenerational healing.
The practice rebuilt the man.
The man rebuilt everything else.
What followed the forty days was not retreat from the world - it was a return to it, with a steadier hand. A commodity trader by instinct and a builder by habit, he grew the family enterprise - Betul Oil - into an industry leader and a number-one exporter in its field. And he kept building, quietly and widely: pharmaceuticals, hospitality, real estate, capital services, commodity trading - and many more besides. The registry counts forty-seven companies against his name.
A seat among India's entrepreneur elite followed: the Entrepreneurs' Organization, the Young Presidents' Organization. Yet ask him what changed, and he does not point to any boardroom. He points to the cushion. The stillness came first; everything else was downstream of it - and that is the whole thesis he now teaches.

The student became the steward. Today Shreans is Chairman of Pyramid Valley International - Patriji's 40-acre valley outside Bengaluru, crowned by the 100-foot Maitreya-Buddha Pyramid and a pillar-less meditation hall that seats thousands in a single silence.

He never left business - he is still Managing Director of Betul Oil - and that is exactly why entrepreneurs listen to him on stillness. On EO and YPO stages his signature talk says it plainly: Meditate Your Way To Success. He has shared stages with global teachers of this work - Bruce Lipton, Gregg Braden, Jim Kwik, Jack Canfield - and offers his own talks and workshops pro bono, by choice, to keep spiritual growth accessible to everyone.
Meditation is not an empty experience. It is the experience of emptiness.

In 2013 he founded the Shreans Daga Foundation to hand the work to anyone willing to try it - weekly live sessions that cost nothing, a free daily-practice app, workshops, and immersive retreats. His brother Varun brought the science of brainwaves and chakras; Abha Shah brought a lifetime of practice. What began as one man's recovery became a family's offering.
The mission: to help every seeker - beginner or advanced - build clarity, peace and inner stability, by turning two decades of learning into practices anyone can run. Experience before belief.
Nothing here asks to be believed - the man who was told to question everything built a foundation that tells you the same. Practise, observe, and keep only what proves itself.
